WHAT IS PODIATRY?
Podiatry is a system of diagnosis and treatment, focusing on structural and mechanical problems of the foot and lower limbs in order to establish the causes of minor foot ailments. Podiatry can help maintain active and pain free feet, improve mobility, as well as improve your overall health and wellbeing.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A PODIATRY TREATMENT?
One of our podiatrists will warmly welcome you into our clinic and full details of your medical and treatment history will be taken. Our podiatrists are bound by a strict code of ethics and any details that you disclose will be kept in strict confidence.
You will then have both of your feet examined thoroughly and any foot conditions diagnosed. After this, we will discuss the options which are available to you. Your feet will then be treated and foot care advice is given, where necessary, to keep your feet healthy in the future.
